Mariya Hope Garland, born November 18th, 1996, was beloved daughter, sister and friend to many. Most of all Mariya had a deep and devoted love for Jesus; she truly led a Christ centered life. Mariya took a gap year after graduating from Liberty Common High School in Fort Collins, Colorado in May 2015. She attended a bi-lingual Disciple Training Service (DTS) at a Youth With a Mission (YWAM) located in Buffalo, Minnesota. She then followed up with a Bible Core course at a YWAM in Ensenada, Baja California Norte, Mexico. She attended Rhodes College in Memphis Tennessee. In the summer of 2017, she returned to Memphis to start her sophomore year. She became suddenly ill and was diagnosed with Stage IV Wilms kidney cancer and a level IV cancer thrombosis. She returned to Colorado to receive treatment and passed away a day before her 21st birthday on November 17th, 2017.

This site is dedica
ted to her and is and will be for some time in a state of flux. I, Jeff her father, am learning as I go and am not a website developer.; please by patient. May the grace of God be upon me as I slowly build this out over the ensuing years and may it be a beacon where's Mariya's life and love can shine.
